Paisley in Warm Tones: Chalkboard Nails nail art contest

Sarah from Chalkboard Nails announced a great nail art contest a couple of weeks ago and I really wanted to submit something cool - in warm tones.  I love her designs and there is always something inspiring on her blog.  Plus, I love the color of the lighting in her pics.

So I knew I had to do something special and I racked my brain to come up with a new design.  I finally settled on paisley.

Paisley in Warm Tones
This was my first ever attempt at this design and I am thrilled with how this came out!  I freehanded the paisley shapes and then used a dotting tool to add the accents.

I think my thumb is my favorite!

Colors used:
L'Oreal A Perfect Trench - base color
OPI Quarter of a Cent-cherry - dark red
Rescue Beauty Lounge - Sante Fe - orange
China Glaze - Mahogany Magic - brown

There are so many awesome submissions already - good luck to everyone :)
